The goal of psychotherapy is to increase the individual’s or family’s sense of their own well-being.  The sharing of experiences with a psychotherapist can help a person achieve a sense of balance in their life, gain deeper insight and understanding, and foster changes that result in a more meaningful and joyous life.

As a licensed psychologist, I offer a supportive and confidential environment where my clients safely talk about personal difficulties and develop strengths to cope more effectively with challenging situations, feelings, and relationships.  While I often utilize a psychodynamic, developmental and attachment-based approach, treatment is based on the needs and concerns of each individual that I work with.
